Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 12, 2025  ·  Effective: March 15, 2025

Quick Alert does not sell, share, or transmit your personal data to third parties. All document data is stored locally on your device.

1. Who we are

Quick Alert ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile application that helps you track expiration dates of personal documents such as passports, visas, driver's licenses, and other ID documents.

If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at: support@quickalert.my

2. What data we collect

Quick Alert is designed to work with minimal data collection. Here is what we store:

  • Document information — names, types, and expiration dates that you enter manually into the app.
  • Notification preferences — your reminder settings (how many days before expiration you want to be notified).
  • Device identifiers — used only for delivering local push notifications.

We do not collect photos of your documents, government ID numbers, biometric data, or location data.

3. How we use your data

The data you enter is used solely to:

  • Display your documents and their expiration dates within the app.
  • Send you local push notifications before documents expire.
  • Improve app performance and fix bugs (via anonymized crash reports, if applicable).

4. Where your data is stored

All document data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate cloud servers that store your personal document information. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed.

5. Third-party services

Quick Alert may use the following third-party services for analytics and crash reporting:

  • [Analytics provider — e.g. Firebase / None]

These services collect only anonymized, aggregated data and do not have access to your document information.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the data stored in the app at any time (it is visible directly in the app).
  • Delete any or all of your data by removing documents from the app or uninstalling it.
  • Contact us with any privacy-related questions or requests.

7. Children's privacy

Quick Alert is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
